Traffic Free Road Race
All events will be run on a course that follows the foreshore of Lake Macquarie starting and finishing at Warners Bay.
You will run between Warners Bay and Speers Point. The course is relatively flat with no hills of any consequence.
The road surface is excellent and totally traffic free.
Half Marathon competitors will complete 2¼ loops of the course. The 10.5km Fun Run will complete only one loop.
Water Stations will be positioned throughout the course with water or Powerade for runners.
Kilometre marks are placed around the course at 1km intervals.
Road Closures will be between Kings Road Warners Bay and Creek Reserve Road Speers Point starting at 6:00am and will re-open for traffic at 11:00am
It is recommended for athletes to park their cars behind The Esplanade shops in the car park off John Street.
